Building Bridges: See How Lawmaker, Dennis Idahosa Is Seriously Tackling Economic Deprivation In Ovia.
One lawmaker that has come under heavy commendation for his quality representation to his people is Hon Dennis Idahosa the lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
The youthful lawmaker has been at the vanguard of initiating people-oriented schemes as part of his constituency projects.
If the lawmaker is not in the drawing stage seating down and planning with his constituents on the next project of impact to be initiated the lawmaker would be busy putting up a robust representation at the green chambers or at home in Ovia inspecting constituency projects to make sure they meet the required standard.
The lawmaker has no fewer than 26 projects alone in the 2020/2021 fiscal year, his penchant for liberating his people from the shackles of poverty is worthy of citation.
Skills acquisition centres, construction of roads, community health care centres, provision of potable water to constituents, building and renovation of schools, provision of social amenities and other basic necessities for the easy day to day living of constituents seems to be the number one priority of the Federal lawmaker.
Just yesterday the lawmaker was spotted inspecting a bridge under construction, “the Aden bridge” located in Aden community at Ugbogui ward in Ovia South-West local government area of Edo State.
The construction of the bridge was necessitated after the collapse of the old bridge which made it difficult for residents to access other communities and the city.
The bridge when completed will ease the transportation of farm produce between the inner communities and other cities.
According to the lawmaker “The inhabitants of Aden and other affected communities who have been cut off from medical health care and our kids who have no access route to school and are in danger of walking through the shallow river will now become a thing of the past.”
The Federal Lawmaker has certainly made spirited efforts in tackling the economic deprivation of his constituents by initiating people-oriented projects that is of direct economic benefit to his people.
