Bukky Wright Speaks On Marriage, Separation From Children, Acting Career Journey

According to Ireporter Online, veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has opened up on her personal life, marriage, and emotional separation from her children while speaking as a panellist at a recent event.

Wright revealed that her children were taken away from her at a young age after she married into a wealthy family, adding that her in-laws reportedly doubted her potential for success in life. She explained that the experience deeply shaped her outlook and ultimately influenced her decision to pursue acting.

The actress noted that she initially had no intention of becoming a star but entered the film industry as a means of staying visible to her children, hoping they would one day be able to trace her through her work.

“I never even thought of becoming a star. I started acting so that when my children grow up, they would at least know where to find me,” she said, recalling how she was separated from them due to family circumstances following her marriage into a wealthy household.

Wright added that her journey into acting was not driven by fame but by a personal desire to remain connected to her children despite the separation.
