Celebrity Crypto Mogul Blord Remanded In Kuje Prison

A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of Nigerian celebrity cryptocurrency entrepreneur, Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, at the Kuje Correctional Centre over allegations of impersonation involving social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan.

According to credible media reports, the defendant was remanded on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, following his arraignment before the court on multiple charges. The charges reportedly include impersonation and forgery, among others, brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja.

In a video shared online showing the moment Blord was escorted from the court premises to the correctional facility, VeryDarkMan alleged that the cryptocurrency entrepreneur falsely used his identity for promotional activities. He claimed that Blord forged travel documents bearing his name and misrepresented that he was scheduled to attend an event in Onitsha for the launch of a digital application.

The critic further alleged that Blord publicly claimed to have paid him a substantial sum as a brand ambassador and also attributed endorsement of a financial application to him without consent. According to the claims, promotional materials, including billboards and flyers featuring his image, were produced and circulated without authorization.

The court has ordered that Blord remain in custody for a period of 26 days pending further proceedings in the case.
