Hon. Charity Amayaenvbo congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo and Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa on their well-deserved victory at the Court of Appeal.

He also rebuked the PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo, and his party, the Edo PDP, urging them to put an end to their futile attempts at courtroom shopping. According to him, the people of Edo State spoke loudly and clearly on the 21st of September, 2024, and INEC rightfully declared the true winner of the election.

Hon. Charity Amayaenvbo further predicted that the Supreme Court will also uphold the victory of the Edo APC and Governor Monday Okpebholo, should the PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo, decide to explore his last available option. He based this prediction on the sound and watertight judgments already delivered by both the Edo Elections Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.

He called on Governor Monday Okpebholo and his Deputy, Dennis Idahosa, not to betray the enormous vote of confidence that the people of Edo State—and indeed, Almighty God—have once again placed in them to build a new and Risen Edo.
