Tiwa Savage filed a petition against Davido, alleging a threat of assault and serious bodily harm. In the petition submitted to Lagos Commissioner of Police Adegoke Fayoade, she claimed that Davido made a “direct threat to my rights to life, privacy, and dignity of my person” and urged the police to “hold Davido responsible if any harm befalls me.”

However, shortly after news of the petition went viral, Davido shared a tweet informing his fans about a song he had just recorded, saying, “I just recorded the hardest verse EVER!!!!!”

In a related development, Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has criticized talent manager Tee Billz for repeatedly attacking award-winning singer Davido, alleging disrespect to his family and mistreatment of his baby mama, Sophia Momodu.

Tee Billz claimed that Davido spread rumors about him after he pleaded with Sophia to allow him to see his daughter, Imade. He further alleged that Davido had not seen Imade for two Christmases, and those around him failed to tell him the truth about his actions.

Responding to this, Do2dtun, in a post on X, questioned why Davido should be labeled a ‘deadbeat’ father when he wants to be with his child. He also challenged Billz’s statement, accusing Davido of not seeing his daughter, Imade, for two years and pleading with Sophia Momodu to allow him access to his child.
