Afrobeats star Davido has reportedly unfollowed media personality Dele Momodu on Instagram, sparking widespread discussion online. According to Ireporter Online, this development comes just hours after Momodu spoke publicly about efforts to mediate a dispute between the singer and his niece, Sophia Momodu.

A review of Davido’s verified Instagram account on Wednesday showed that Momodu’s profile was no longer among those he follows. The move has generated reactions across social media, particularly as it coincides with Momodu’s comments on the ongoing tensions between Davido and Sophia regarding their daughter, Imade Adeleke.

During a recent visit to Liberia, Momodu revealed that he had received multiple appeals from fans urging him to help reconcile the former partners. He noted that private steps were being taken to find a peaceful resolution and asked supporters to continue praying for the family.

The disagreement between Davido and Sophia has reportedly centered on the custody and upbringing of Imade. The matter previously reached the courts before Davido voluntarily withdrew the case.
