Delta Businessman Murdered In His Office

Offor, a Knight of the Catholic Church and a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was allegedly killed on the night of December 10, 2024, in his office, which is located near the busy entrance to the community on the Benin-Asaba expressway.

SP Bright Edafe, the police spokesperson, announced on Thursday that the command is fully committed to tracking down those responsible for the crime.

Reports from the Nigerian Tribune indicate that Offor was stabbed to death, and his office door was locked. Neighbors in the vicinity of the business center believed he had finished work for the day and gone home, as he frequently worked alone.

His office served as a hub for his commercial bank agency, Point of Sale (POS) services, and real estate operations.

The gruesome discovery was made on Wednesday morning when family members, who also operated POS services, checked with neighbors at the popular Dema Kitchen business complex about his whereabouts after he failed to return home.

Chaos erupted as local residents gathered outside the office to witness the shocking scene involving the deceased elder.

The police have since taken his body to the mortuary for further examination.
