According to Ireporter Online, Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembele has been crowned The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2025, a recognition that caps a remarkable campaign widely regarded as one of the most successful in the club’s history.

The 28-year-old attacker emerged as the standout figure in global football after inspiring PSG to their first-ever UEFA Champions League triumph. Dembele played a decisive role throughout the competition, registering eight goals and six assists as the Parisian giants finally lifted Europe’s most coveted club trophy.

His impact extended well beyond continental success. Dembele was instrumental as PSG completed a domestic treble, securing the Ligue 1 title, the Coupe de France and the Trophee des Champions. He also helped the French champions reach the final of the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup, highlighting his influence across multiple competitions and stages.

On an individual level, Dembele’s season was equally outstanding. He was named Most Valuable Player in both the UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 for the 2024/25 season, finished as joint top scorer in the French top flight and collected several end-of-season accolades across Europe.

Statistically, his campaign included Champions League, Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles, victory in the Trophee des Champions, a runner-up finish at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and a third-place finish with France at the UEFA Nations League. He was also honoured as UEFA Champions League Player of the Season, included in the competition’s Team of the Season, voted Ligue 1 Player of the Year and named in the UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Year.

The award was determined through FIFA’s official voting process, which assessed performances between August 11, 2024 and August 2, 2025. A panel of experts initially shortlisted candidates, after which votes were cast by national team coaches, national team captains, football journalists and fans worldwide. Each voting group accounted for an equal share of the final result, with points allocated based on first, second and third-place selections, ultimately confirming Dembele as the standout player of the year.
