Despite Rain, Large Turnout For Olubadan-Palace Commissioning

On Wednesday, July 10, dignitaries from various sectors gathered to celebrate and honor the ancient city of Ibadan and the Olubadan stool at the commissioning of the newly built Olubadan Palace. The new structure is located in the Oke Aremo area of the capital city.

Despite torrential rain, a large number of dignitaries attended the event. Originally scheduled to commence at 10 am, the commissioning was later shifted to 3 pm.

The event is anticipating the arrival of Governor Seyi Makinde and the Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin. Among the dignitaries already present at the Oke Aremo Palace venue are the Deputy Governor, Seyi Makinde, and other top government officials.
