Don Jazzy Calls Johnny Drille A Complete Musician

According to Ireporter Online, Mavin Records chief executive Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, has described Johnny Drille as the most complete musician currently in Nigeria’s music industry.

Speaking on the Crea8torium podcast, Ajereh stated that Johnny Drille stands out due to his rare ability to write, produce, sing, and deliver consistently strong performances both in the studio and on stage. He explained that the singer’s all-round skill set places him in a unique category within the industry, where few artistes are able to maintain such balance across all aspects of music creation and performance.

He further noted that Drille occupies a distinct creative space that, in his view, is unmatched by many of his contemporaries in the Nigerian music scene. According to him, the singer’s versatility makes him a “complete musician,” combining songwriting, vocal delivery, production skills, and live performance excellence at a high level.

Ajereh added that Johnny Drille’s stage presence mirrors his studio output, stressing that there is no noticeable difference between his recorded sound and live performances, a quality he described as rare in the industry.
