The directive emphasizes that AIG Lafia must adhere to all rules for officers under suspension. Additionally, the AIG in charge of Budget and Payment has been instructed to freeze Lafia’s salary during the suspension.

The communication, dated January 10, 2025, stated:
“Suspension and interdiction X AP.NΟ. 41804 ΑIG Abduyari Shuaya’u Lafia X Police Service Commission (POLSCOM) letter dated 9/01/2025 X PSR 100406, 2021 X suspension effective immediately X compliance with disciplinary procedures X salary halted pending FDC determination X treat as urgent X.”

AIG Abduyari Lafia, who has been leading the Force Intelligence Bureau at the Abuja headquarters since February 2023, now awaits the outcome of the investigation.
