Ebonyi Governor Nwifuru Dismisses Two Aides for Misconduct

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has dismissed two of his aides for gross misconduct. The dismissed officials are:

• Mr. Nnanna Nwangele, Special Assistant to the Governor on Airport Security
• Mr. Felix Okemini, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security (Ebonyi North)

The announcement was made in a statement issued on Tuesday by Professor Grace Umezurike, the Secretary to the State Government. The statement also ordered the dismissed aides to hand over all government properties in their possession to the Secretary to the State Government by 4:00 PM on March 18, 2025. They were further directed not to appear at the Government House or participate in any government activities moving forward.

This decision reflects Governor Nwifuru’s commitment to upholding discipline and accountability within his administration.
