As Edo 2024 Governorship election approaches, a good number of persons are signifying interest to run for the number one seat in the State. Various interest groups are also  beckoning on their trusted persons to throw their hat into the ring.

In a proactive effort to seek divine guidance for the political path of Edo, Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Obinyan, during the recently concluded 2023 Pentecost Rally of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal at the Prayer City – Ugbiyoko, Benin City, offered a prayer for the undeniable will of God to prevail in the Edo 2024 elections.

For more than 15 years, Very Rev. Fr. Obinyan has served as the Chaplain of a dynamic, devoted, steadfast, unified, and spiritually inspired charismatic group of over 20,000 members within the Catholic Church in Edo-South.

The group firmly believes that God will bring about a just and virtuous order in the political landscape of Edo State, introducing a Kingdom Model that will bring extraordinary socio-economic and political advantages to the masses.
