Esperance Capture Nigerian Star Izu Azuka In Three-And-Half-Year Deal

According to Ireporter Online, African champions Esperance have confirmed reaching an agreement to sign Nigerian forward Izu Azuka on a three-and-a-half-year contract. The Tunisian giants disclosed through their official communication channels that the deal with the Sunshine Stars striker was concluded during their CAF Champions League group-stage encounter against the Nigerian club.

Club officials had reportedly monitored Azuka’s progress for an extended period before sealing the agreement last month. The Nigerian international is expected to officially join the reigning CAF Champions League holders in December, as gathered from reliable sporting sources.

Azuka, who has been in impressive form for Sunshine Stars, was also on the radar of Turkish side Adana Demirspor. However, he is understood to have declined an offer that required him to undergo test matches before any contract would be proposed.
