According to Ireporter Online, Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has dismissed circulating reports suggesting that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen’s current contract with the Turkish champions includes a release clause.

Osimhen, who permanently joined Galatasaray this summer following an impressive loan spell under coach Okan Buruk, was signed from Italian side Napoli for a reported fee of €75 million. The record-breaking transfer reignited speculation that another exit clause had been inserted into his new deal.

Speaking at a sponsorship unveiling on Friday, Ozbek clarified the situation, emphasizing that the 25-year-old Super Eagles forward is fully committed to the club. “Osimhen’s contract doesn’t include an exit clause,” the Galatasaray chief stated. “He’s an exceptional player who will serve Galatasaray for many years to come.”

Since his return to Istanbul, Osimhen has made an immediate impact, playing a decisive role in the club’s strong start to the Turkish Super Lig season. His performances have solidified his status as one of the most influential players in Europe at the moment.
