Go To Another Church – Ibiyeomie Rejects Offerings From ‘Yahoo Boys

The founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has warned alleged internet fraudsters, popularly referred to as “Yahoo boys,” against giving offerings in his church.

According to Ireporter Online, the clergyman issued the warning during a church service, stressing that Salvation Ministries does not need money obtained through fraudulent activities.

Ibiyeomie expressed concern that some individuals allegedly involved in internet fraud still attend church services and appear comfortable participating in religious activities despite the nature of how they make their money.

He maintained that internet fraud amounts to stealing, arguing that taking money belonging to another person cannot be justified regardless of how the act is presented.

The pastor subsequently told anyone involved in such activities not to bring their offerings to Salvation Ministries, insisting that the church would not accept money derived from fraud.

According to him, the amount of money involved would not change his position on the matter.

Ibiyeomie also recalled an alleged case involving a professor at Rivers State University who, according to his account, was defrauded of his savings and later died after collapsing.

The clergyman used the incident to highlight the devastating consequences fraud can have on victims and their families.

He further urged people who associate with individuals involved in internet fraud to reconsider such relationships and distance themselves from the illegal activity.
