Homecoming Drama: Nollywood Star Jumoke George’s Daughter Makes Surprise Return to Nigeria!

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has successfully facilitated the return of Adeola, the daughter of veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George, from Mali to Nigeria.

It will be recalled that Jumoke George recently opened up about her daughter’s disappearance during an emotional interview with fellow actress Biola Adebayo on the Talk to B YouTube podcast. She revealed that Adeola, who had been living with her grandmother in Ibadan, went missing after informing the family she was heading to Lagos.

After being declared missing for four years, Adeola was eventually located in Mali, where she had been trafficked.

In an update shared via X on Monday, May 19, 2025, NIDCOM Chairperson Abike Dabiri-Erewa announced that the 41-year-old has been brought back to Nigeria. Dabiri-Erewa said she welcomed Adeola alongside Biola Adebayo, who brought the story to light, and actor Adeniyi Johnson.
