How Will PDP, LP React To This? – See What Uzodimma Told Voters Ahead Of November Governorship Election

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has given assurance to the electorate that the governorship election scheduled for November 11 will be conducted in a manner that is free, fair, credible, and transparent.

He urged voters not to succumb to baseless manipulation, but rather to protect their votes.

Speaking at the official launch of the Imo Progressives Movement (IPM), Uzodimma emphasized that the electoral environment will be made conducive, particularly for Imo’s youth to exercise their voting rights.

Furthermore, the Governor pledged to establish an enabling environment for wealth creation, poverty reduction, provision of scholarships, and the delivery of quality education. He also assured civil servants of timely salary payments, infrastructure development, and an overall enhancement of prosperity and progress for the people of Imo.

Governor Uzodimma encouraged Imo citizens to actively participate on election day, monitor the voting process, remain within their designated areas, and ensure that their votes are accurately tallied and transmitted to the situation room without any apprehension.

In his remarks, the Convener of the Imo Progressives Movement (IPM), Honorable Eugene Dibiagwu, explained that the organization was established to support the Governor’s re-election through providing quality political education and highlighting successes in governance to inspire voters in the right direction.

Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, a former Governor of Imo State and the Chairman of the occasion, characterized the inauguration and campaign launch as the culmination of all endorsements and campaigns.

Comrade Jeff Nwoha, the Director General, introduced the essence of the Imo Progressives Movement, stating that various groups chose Governor Uzodimma due to his demonstrated fairness, accomplishments in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and his administration’s inclusive approach.
