Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and comedian Akpororo have exchanged heated words over Ogala’s ongoing dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries. According to Ireporter Online, the conflict escalated after Akpororo advised Ogala on Instagram to resolve the matter privately rather than airing it publicly on social media.

Akpororo suggested that criticism against the pastor was largely due to his clerical status and argued that the issue was not as serious as it appeared. He further claimed that if Okafor were not a pastor, Ogala might have faced backlash instead. The comedian cautioned that continuing to discuss the matter online made her appear to be overreacting and encouraged her to handle the situation quietly, which he said would be in her best interest.

Ogala responded, insisting that Akpororo did not understand her experience and had no authority to dictate how she should manage her affairs. She stated that publicly speaking out was necessary for her safety and accused Akpororo of hypocrisy, suggesting his comments were influenced by payments received from Okafor. Ogala warned him against further involvement and threatened to expose alleged past misconduct involving women if he continued. She emphasized that her situation was serious and that Akpororo, having performed at Okafor’s church several times, should have contacted her privately instead of commenting publicly.

In response, Akpororo challenged Ogala to act on her threat, daring her to release the video she referenced by the end of the day and mocking her claim.

The dispute between Ogala and Pastor Okafor reportedly began weeks earlier after a video of Okafor’s engagement to Pearl Okafor surfaced online. Ogala claimed to have been in a romantic relationship with Okafor since 2017, stating that she ended her previous marriage because of him and accused him of betrayal after years of promises to marry her. She initially demanded marriage or compensation from the pastor, later raising the sum to N1 billion for breach of promise.

Despite Ogala’s public demands and threats, Okafor proceeded to marry Pearl Okafor in both white and traditional wedding ceremonies. He initially described Ogala’s reaction as anger from the devil over his happiness but later publicly knelt and apologized, admitting that her claims about their past relationship were true.
