According to Ireporter Online, social media personality Amodu Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has appealed to the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, for forgiveness following the controversy involving her partner, Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, also known as Peller. The plea comes in the wake of backlash over an unauthorised visit to the Benin Royal Palace.

Jarvis made her appeal during a live social media session, expressing remorse over the incident and seeking mercy. She conveyed concern about the potential impact on her personal life, particularly her marriage plans, stating that she does not want the situation to create difficulties for her future. She urged: “I don’t want to be single to stupor… please forgive him. I want to get married; I want my bride price paid without fear. Please have mercy on us.”

The appeal follows measures taken by the Benin Traditional Council, which had summoned Peller in connection with the March 6, 2026 incident. The council described the visit as a breach of palace rules and tradition.

In response, disciplinary actions were taken against palace officials. A chief was suspended, while other members of the royal household faced sanctions for permitting unauthorised access. Peller has been instructed to appear before the council and submit a formal written apology as authorities continue to address the matter and uphold palace protocols.
