I Must Have A Girl” — Regina Daniels Sparks Buzz Over Plans For Another Baby

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked widespread reactions after revealing her intention to have another child despite ongoing reports surrounding her strained separation from her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Recall that Regina Daniels tied the knot with Ned Nwoko in 2019, a union that generated public controversy largely due to their age difference, though the actress remained unfazed by the criticism at the time. The marriage produced two sons before later experiencing a highly publicised crisis in late 2025, following allegations from Nwoko accusing the actress of substance abuse and claiming she needed rehabilitation.

The actress, however, strongly denied the allegations, countering them with claims of manipulation, psychological control, and physical abuse.

Speaking during a recent live session with Nigerian TikToker Jarvis, Regina Daniels stated that she has emotionally disengaged from the idea of marriage but remains determined to expand her family. She disclosed her desire to have more children, particularly expressing a strong wish for a daughter.

According to her, she plans to have up to six children, noting that she already has two boys. She explained that her preference for a girl child is based on her belief that daughters are more likely to remain emotionally connected to their parents in old age compared to sons, who often prioritize building their own families.

“I want to have six children and I have two already, two boys. It is so crazy but for some reason I have checked my mind out from getting married. But I am going to have a girl and I must have a girl,” she was quoted as saying during the livestream.

She further added that while men tend to focus on their own families after marriage, women are more likely to remain attached to their parental homes.
