“I Took A ₦5 Million Loan To Chase My Dream” – BBNaija’s Faith Opens Up On His Journey To Fame

According to reports by Ireporter Online, former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has revealed the extraordinary sacrifice he made to secure a spot on the popular reality TV show.

In a heartfelt four-minute monologue shared on his YouTube channel on Friday, the 25-year-old medical doctor disclosed that he took a ₦5 million loan to fund his participation in the competition. Faith, who was disqualified from the show in early October, reflected on his journey, struggles, and the lessons he learned along the way.

“Faith is dead, but before he passed on, he wanted to tell you stories that meant the world to him. So listen carefully,” he began, using symbolic language to describe his personal transformation.

Narrating how his Big Brother journey began, Faith explained that it all started with a life-changing text message he received on March 5, 2025. “One click on that link and everything changed,” he said.

The former housemate recounted that after returning to Nigeria in December 2024, he faced deep uncertainty about his career in medicine. However, the decision to audition for Big Brother Naija became a defining turning point. “I was pissed, like what am I going to do in this country as a doctor? But somehow, clicking that link led me to Africa’s biggest reality show. I took a loan of ₦5 million and somehow I made it,” he recounted.

Faith further disclosed that his time in the house was emotionally draining, admitting to moments of vulnerability and imperfection. He revealed that he had requested to see a therapist several times during the show due to the mental pressure he experienced. “I wasn’t perfect. I made a lot of mistakes. I was overwhelmed and isolated. I requested to see a therapist more than three times because I knew I needed help,” he shared.

Despite the challenges and his eventual disqualification, Faith expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans for their unwavering love and support. “Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’ve never met were shouting my name and spending their hard-earned money to keep me in that house. They didn’t see perfection—they saw Faith, a flawed but passionate man,” he said.

Concluding his message, Faith said he feels reborn and ready to embrace new opportunities, describing the experience as a chapter that has reshaped his outlook on life and purpose.
