Ibori-Suenu Says Defection To APC Was Best Decision, Accuses PDP Of Stifling Her Ambitions

her defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the best decision of her political career.

Ibori-Suenu made this known during a constituency empowerment programme, where she distributed vehicles, motorcycles, and other items. She accused the PDP of attempting to stifle her political aspirations and expressed gratitude to supporters and APC leaders for their encouragement.

“I am already at home; APC is supreme,” she said. “The people in PDP wanted to kill my political aspirations, but thank God, I have finally left.”

The APC has declared her seat vacant, calling it “criminal” for her to still be parading herself as a lawmaker after defecting from the party.

Meanwhile, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege praised Ibori-Suenu’s defection, describing her as a “political bulldozer.” He expressed confidence that her move would help the APC secure Delta State in the 2027 elections.

With her support, Omo-Agege said the APC is better positioned to take over Delta State
