I’d Rather Pay Tithe To The Streets Than Church” — Zubby Michael Sparks Debate Online
Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has disclosed that he recently donated ₦10.2 million to individuals on the streets, describing the gesture as his personal way of paying tithe. According to Ireporter Online, the actor made this known during an interview where he explained that the amount represents 10 percent of ₦102 million he earned from movie roles within a short period.
He stated that rather than channeling his tithe through a religious institution, he prefers to give directly to those in need, stressing that his decision is rooted in personal conviction. The actor further clarified that the ₦102 million was not accumulated over the course of his entire career but was earned recently, reflecting his current success in the film industry.
Zubby Michael also emphasized that he does not subscribe to the practice of paying tithe to churches, noting that his approach to giving is guided by his individual beliefs rather than traditional religious expectations.
