“If He Slaps Me I’ll Slap Back” — Blessing CEO Denies IVD Assault Claims

According to Ireporter Online, controversial relationship coach Blessing CEO has denied that she was the victim of domestic violence after a viral video of her in distress sparked widespread online alarm. The social media personality said the footage captured the aftermath of a robbery at her home, not an assault by her partner, businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna (known as IVD). Blessing told a weekend publication that a domestic worker employed as a housekeeper stole several personal items and that the situation escalated when IVD confronted the worker, prompting a physical exchange that onlookers misread from the clip.

She said she removed the video at the request of police to allow a proper investigation to proceed. Blessing, a mother of two, also pushed back against public assumptions tied to her partner’s past controversies, insisting the incident was not domestic violence and stressing her ability to defend herself. “It was a robbery incident. The boy we employed as a housekeeper robbed us and sold some of our personal belongings. When IVD confronted him, there was a physical altercation. That was what people saw in the video,” she said, adding, “IVD cannot beat me. If he slaps me, I will slap him back. We will fight.”
