Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has declared that she will no longer greet fellow actress Funke Akindele following an awkward encounter at a recent public event.

According to Ireporter Online, the incident occurred at a movie premiere hosted by Iyabo Ojo, where both actresses were present. Video footage from the event showed Toyin approaching Funke, who was seated with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe, in an attempt to greet her. While Iyabo and Mercy responded, Funke reportedly turned her face away, leaving Toyin visibly embarrassed and prompting her to quietly leave the table.

Following the circulation of the video online, Toyin reportedly commented on a blog post, stating that she had unfollowed Funke on social media and would not initiate any greeting in the future. “I have unfollowed her, God forbid bad thing. If I ever greet her again, that means I am a bastard,” she wrote before deleting the comment.
