Ilorin Emirate Youths Lauds Turaki Of Ilorin Over 10th Annual Empowerment Programme

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) under the auspices of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, has lauded the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, Mall Saliu Mustapha on the 10th Annual Multimillion Naira SME Support and Grassroots Empowerment Programme of his Foundation, Saliu Mustapha Foundation which was held on Saturday 23rd April 2022 at Banquet Hall Ilorin.

A statement jointly signed and made available to JUST EVENT ONLINE TV by the National President* of the association, Alh. Abdullahi Babatunde Salau and the National Publicity Secretary, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo described the Empowerment of 600 Kwarans with a mega sum of 200million Naira by Saliu Mustapha Foundation as the first of its kind in the history of the Ilorin Emirate and the State at large.

The IEYDA stated that the Empowerment will not only improve the lives of the beneficiaries, but will take SMEs in the State to the next level, liberate people from abject poverty, and it will also boost the economy of the State.

The IEYDA remarked Mall. Saliu Mustapha is a first-class Philanthropist, a Unique and Noble Son of the Emirate, a Humanitarian per Excellence, and a lover of Kwarans; especially, the people at the grassroots.

It added that the selection process for the Empowerment Programme was very transparent and devoid of any discrimination, as Twenty-Five (25) Development Associations across the five (5) local government areas of Ilorin Emirate, under the umbrella of IEYDA were part of the lucky 600 beneficiaries of the 200million Naira Empowerment Fund.

The IEYDA prays Allah to continue replenishing the pockets of the Turaki Ngeri in multiple folds, enlarge his coasts and grant all his wishes.

The IEYDA Congratulated all the beneficiaries while charging them to put the Empowerment Fund to good use, as opportunities they say come but ones.
