Lagos Church Kicks Off Major Crusade With Support From CAN And PFN

Holy Fire Evangelical Church is set to hold a two-day Fire Crusade tagged, ‘Greater Grace, Greater Power’.

The crusade organised in partnership with the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and Christian Association of Nigeria would hold at the Blue Roof, LTV, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos on Saturday (today) and Sunday.

Speaking with journalists at the church headquarters in Ogudu, the convener of the crusade, Bishop Edward Benson, said the event was being organised to win more souls for God, saying the gospel of Jesus remained the solution to the problem of Nigeria.

The crusade, according to Benson, will be the largest and most impactful event in his 24-year ministry. Benson said the crusade would bring together thousands of Christian faithful from across the country, adding that the event would feature prayer, song lifting songs, prophetic ministration and empowerment for widows.

According to him, the crusade tour will kick off with a massive crusade in Lagos, Nigeria, before moving on to other African nations and beyond.

He said, “We can never imagine the level of prosperity and transformation that we will experience as a nation if we allow the gospel of Jesus to change our lives.

“The gospel changed me, and it can happen to anybody. The transformation of Nigeria is firmly anchored in the pursuit of righteousness”.

The cleric emphasised that the purpose of the crusade was not only to preach the word of God but also to bring physical, economic and spiritual healing to the nations.

In addition to the spiritual focus, he said that the crusade would provide support to widows and vulnerable families.

Benson highlighted his ministry’s work over the years, including providing care for thousands of widows monthly and offering scholarships to support families in need.
