Lessons To Be Learnt : Tinubu Spotted Taking Down Notes During Traditional Rulers Visit To The Villa(Photo)

That Tinubu has hit the proverbial ground running is not an understatement, but that he has kept running while on the ground is what marvels us. Since the assumption of office as the 16th president barely 14 days ago, President Tinubu has doubted the naysayers and skeptics about his sound health and above all, his sound judgement.

Every single day we have seen Tinubu right there, hanging out daily with various diverse interest groups and stakeholders, including diplomats. He has met with marketers, business tycoons, trade unions, elected lawmakers, and even our traditional rulers.

Recall the LP member elect who was so excited and perhaps he forgot he was elected on the platform of the LP. He headed much praises on the president’s health and sound state of mind and judgement.

He said it was the happiest day of his life to witness his president in such good health and judgement. Imagine his best day was not the day he was elected as a House Member elect, but the day he met Tinubu, who, of course, the LP as a political party was at the vanguard of defaming the President during the campaigns. WOW.

Anyway, the topic of today is that during the meeting with traditional rulers, Tinubu was spotted taking notes to our admiration. Yes, people say it shows he is a good listener and all that, but to us, it was amazing.

Who would blame us? We received numerous calls during the election erroneously informing us that Tinubu cannot hold a pen and has not signed in ten years or more.

They say he was suffering from an advanced form of Parkinson’s disease, that he could no longer think straight. But does a person who is unwell behave in such a manner? If Tinubu was not sound, his handlers, if he has any, would have shielded him away from the public.

Baba has done us proud, so let us briefly conclude with scriptural passages that explain why we should not mock the anointed. As the Bible teaches us in 1 Chronicles 16:22, “Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm.” And in Psalms 105:15, it says, “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” This reminds us to respect and honor those who have been chosen by God for leadership.

May President Tinubu’s actions continue to defy the doubters and skeptics, as he leads our nation with wisdom and strength.
