Odera Mbadiwe, the younger brother of Big Brother Naija stars Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe, popularly known as the Mbadiwe Twins, has expressed profound gratitude to Nigerians for their overwhelming support following his recent disappearance.

The family raised the alarm on social media after Odera went missing on September 1, 2025, in Victoria Island, Lagos, while driving his father’s Nissan 350Z Convertible. The twins shared details of his appearance, describing him as 6ft 2in with a muscular build, a black fade haircut, and brown eyes, appealing to anyone with information to contact the police.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Odera recounted his ordeal, revealing that he had been forcibly administered harmful substances, which left him incapacitated and unable to reach his family. He credited a young woman and a man who found him stranded on the roadside and contacted his family, leading to his safe recovery.

Odera also praised the Nigerian Police and other security agencies for their swift action and dedicated efforts in ensuring his return. In his statement, he said, “After being missing for three days, I, Odera Mbadiwe of the Ozuomba Mbadiwe family, am deeply thankful to be safe and recovering. It was later discovered that multiple harmful substances had been introduced into my system by unknown individuals, creating a very difficult and uncertain time. With God’s grace and the unwavering support of my loved ones, I am here today — safe and growing stronger each day.”

He extended his heartfelt thanks to his family, friends, and the public, particularly the individuals who helped make contact with his family. Odera emphasized that their messages, well-wishes, and critical information were invaluable during the crisis.
