In an interview with PUNCH, Abosede claimed that Mohbad faced constant turmoil throughout his life due to the influence of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, alleging that they continually led him into various troubles.

Abosede asserted that she had warned Mohbad against associating with Naira Marley and had always been involved in her son’s life. She expressed her disapproval of Mohbad’s manager, who she claimed was Naira Marley’s brother, and emphasized her efforts to keep her son away from individuals associated with Naira Marley.

She went on to debunk claims that Mohbad owed money to Sam Larry, revealing instances where Mohbad was allegedly physically assaulted, including one incident where Naira Marley purportedly beat him, resulting in hospitalization and health complications.

Abosede recounted efforts to reconcile Mohbad with Naira Marley after the altercation but expressed frustration with the situation. She expressed her desire for justice for her son and vowed that any curses directed at her by Naira Marley would return to him.

Both Naira Marley and Sam Larry have denied any involvement in Mohbad’s death.
