According to Ireporter Online, she recounted in a viral video on X (formerly Twitter) that her parents separated when she was young, and she alternated between their homes weekly—until one day her father stopped coming.

She recalled, “One week, my dad never showed up to come pick me up. I sat by the door literally waiting and waiting. He never showed up. The following week, I did the same thing. I did this for months.”

For years, she believed she had been abandoned, a perception that left her feeling rejected and shaped her approach to relationships. As an adult, she discovered that her father had not actually left her; rather, her mother had cut off contact out of fear of losing her. “I didn’t find out until recently that my father did not abandon me.
