NANS Applauds Governor Abiodun For Rewarding UNILAG Scholars With N20m
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has praised Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, for appointing two indigenes of the state—Samuel Badekale and Haroun Adebakin—as Education Ambassadors after they emerged as the best-graduating students from the University of Lagos during its 55th convocation. NANS described the governor’s action as “unprecedented” and commended his continued support for education in Ogun State, including previous rewards for academic achievements. The student body urged other governors to emulate Abiodun’s investment in education and reward for academic excellence.
