Niger Delta Minister Momoh Visits Otaru Of Auchi, Thanks Traditional Rulers For Their Continued Support

The Honourable Minister of Niger Delta Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE, recently flagged off the Niger Delta Development Commission’s (NDDC) Free Medical Health Care Mission at the Edo State University Teaching Hospital in Auchi, Edo State.

This significant event, which commenced on May 12, will continue serving the residents of Edo North until May 18, 2024. During his visit, the minister met with His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, the Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, to express gratitude for the enthusiastic participation of his subjects. The program has already benefitted over 4,000 residents in Edo North.

Minister Momoh extended his thanks to the Otaru and other esteemed traditional rulers from various clans for their unwavering support in maintaining peace in the region and aiding government initiatives. He also discussed future plans for regional development, addressing community challenges, and assured that similar schemes would be implemented in Edo Central and Edo South to ensure a broader impact of the ministry’s efforts across the Niger Delta region.

In response, the Otaru of Auchi sacred Kingdom Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III expressed his gratitude for the minister’s unwavering commitment to the people of Edo State and the broader Niger Delta region. He also thanked the NDDC and President Bola Tinubu for their determined efforts in addressing the challenges faced in the Niger Delta. Additionally, he offered prayers for the continued success of the administration.
