Nigeria Decides: How Dennis Idahosa Would Shape The General Elections As INEC Lifts The Ban On Political Campaigns
Five months out from the general elections, candidates from various political parties will take to the streets to tell voters why they are the best candidates for the available vacant jobs ups for grabs.
These aspirants would campaign on a wide range of issues, such as the capacity and capability of meeting electorate expectations; while some would advance compelling reasons for reelection, others would seek to replace incumbents due to poor performance and incapacity.
As we speak in Nigeria today, incumbents are at the mercy of the electorates due to the general perception of current leaders’ collective failure to make things difficult for the common man; as a result, the majority of electorates across the six geo-political zones may not be looking in the direction of incumbent leaders.
However, Hon Dennis Idahosa, the National Assembly lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency, would be redefining the scope of re-election in electoral campaigns.
The lawmaker will launch his campaigns with a rich history of high-quality performance that has astounded the voting population of Ovia with his numerous projects that have touched the majority of constituents.
Dennis Idahosa has demonstrated capacity in the last three years by delivering massive, unprecedented projects across the wards and communities that comprise Ovia Federal Constituency. He has made significant contributions to the educational sector by constructing and rebuilding schools, providing educational materials, furnishing schools, and connecting roads to aid transportation to and from schools.
He has a long history of supporting farmers in the agricultural industry and offering a variety of programs to empower young people, women, and the elderly. More than 75 communities without prior access to the national grid now have electricity thanks to Dennis.
To the surprise of constituents, he has embarked on the construction of bridges and roads. His unique selling point is the close affiliation he has with his constituents, as he consults and interacts with them on a weekly basis to ascertain their areas of need.
His response to meeting the expectations of his constituents would undoubtedly be the path that his campaigns would take; indeed, Dennis Idahosa would shape how electorates would rate incumbents in the coming elections as a reference point for good governance among his peers.
Hon Dennis Idahosa, the current lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, is one man to keep an eye on because he will undoubtedly raise the bar when it comes to electioneering campaigns this season.
