Nigeria Decides: Recognizing The Valuable Role Of Zeenat Garuba And Kamilat Olagoke In Tinubu’s Campaign

Their aim was to create a network that inspired society at the grassroots level to strategically influence the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria. They established a support group called “Youth Helping Hands for Asiwaju & Shettima.”

To kickstart their campaign, the movement launched a food program and provided basic amenities across various areas in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), such as Trenches and Satellite Town. The driving force behind this initiative was a group of notable youths across the FCT who believed in the importance of a well-coordinated and articulated project to showcase Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the best choice for Nigerians.

The achievements of the Youth Helping Hands for Asiwaju & Shettima (YOHHA) campaign include:

1. Conducting an investigative outreach in various communities within the FCT, including Garki Village, Galadimawa Village, Guzape, Kuchigoro, Gwagwalada, Kuje, Abaji, Kabusa, etc. They used questionnaires to identify the problems faced by villagers in Abuja.
2. Organizing a three-day capacity building program for youth and corps members from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the FCT. This program took place at the National Assembly in collaboration with the Gbaja Professional Volunteer Network and other key stakeholders.
3. Having some of its members serve as full-time volunteer staff of TSG, taking on administrative and media roles.
4. Acting as the secretariat for most of their principal’s activities.
5. Providing volunteering services that made significant contributions to various events, including the APC convention, delegate hunting, primary elections, Presidential campaign Council as staff and members in special media operations, new media, elections, etc.

These accomplishments highlight the dedication, hard work, and effectiveness of Zeenat Garuba, Kamilat Olagoke, and the Youth Helping Hands for Asiwaju & Shettima campaign. Their efforts played a crucial role in supporting President Bola Tinubu during his campaign, and they deserve recognition for their valuable contributions.
