Tinubu made these remarks during the 16th edition of the Leadership 2023 conference and Awards in Abuja on March 5, where he was represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris.

He emphasized that the country is undergoing necessary reforms aimed at building a new and sustainable economy. Tinubu pointed out that despite the challenges, there are unprecedented opportunities for growth and development.

The president highlighted various initiatives and investments aimed at boosting key sectors of the economy, including manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare, and agriculture. He also mentioned the significant inflow of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and the positive performance of the Nigerian Stock Exchange as indicators of the economy’s resilience.

Tinubu urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive as the government works to stabilize the economy and create more opportunities for investment and growth. He called on the media to report not only on challenges but also on solutions and opportunities, emphasizing the country’s progress and potential for a brighter future.
