The interim national publicity secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has made it clear that the party has not entered into any discussion regarding its presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.

According to iReporter Online, Abdullahi stated this on Saturday in Abuja during the third plenary session of the Northern Political Consultative Group (NPCG), themed: “Peace and Social Cohesion: A Panacea to Challenges of the North.”

“We don’t have any favourite aspirants or candidates, we are not having any conversation at the moment,” he said. “Nobody has ever had any discussion about who will be the party’s flagbearer.”

According to iReporter Online, Abdullahi reiterated that the party’s current focus is on building a solid political platform capable of delivering on its foundational mission.
