Nollywood actor Joseph Momodu has achieved a major milestone after successfully completing 17 weeks of rigorous military training with the United States Army.

According to reports, Momodu completed both Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), marking the completion of his initial military training and earning him the rank of Specialist.

The actor announced the achievement on social media on August 27, 2026, expressing excitement about beginning a new chapter of his life.

Momodu’s decision to enlist in the US Army was reportedly influenced by the memory of his late father, who served with the Nigerian Police Force. He had earlier disclosed that he enlisted on April 12, 2026, describing the move as a way of honouring his father’s legacy.
