Meanwhile, Niger Tornadoes’ forward, Ismail Sarki, is optimistic about his team’s upcoming match against Bendel Insurance. The Tornadoes will face Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium this Sunday. Sarki is eager to bounce back from the team’s recent home draw against Plateau United.
“We’re motivated to respond quickly,” Sarki said in a pre-match interview. Having previously played for Bendel Insurance, he is aware of the tough competition ahead, but he remains confident in his team’s chances.
Bendel Insurance’s James Oronsanye also expressed optimism after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) reinstated points, providing a boost to the team’s morale heading into the match.
“The spirit is high following the NFF’s announcement. We’re looking to secure a win against Niger Tornadoes to improve our chances for a continental spot,” Oronsanye said. Bendel Insurance is currently in 15th place on the league table with 28 points.
