It is disheartening that some members of the younger generation fail to grasp the true meaning of sacrifice. Oshiomhole, however, understood it all too well. He courageously led countless protests, refusing to succumb to the allure of inducements or the threat of imprisonment.

Resisting the temptations of power and remaining resolute in the face of adversity is a herculean task for any union leader, but Oshiomhole’s unwavering integrity never wavered.
