Ovia Decides: We Would Repay Dennis Idahosa With Our Votes- Empowerment Scheme Beneficiaries Opens Up

“Dennis facilitated the 37.4km Udo – Inikorogha Light Project, for which we will be eternally grateful; we will mobilize and work for Dennis Idahosa.”

That is exactly what Odion, a 45-year-old native of Udo Community in Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State, said.

The resident claims that since taking office in the National Assembly, the federal lawmaker representing  Ovia federal constituency has been a blessing to the people.

Imudia Earnest, another beneficiary of Dennis Idahosa’s empowerment drive, claims that the lawmaker has done exceptionally well in his efforts to lower unemployment in the local communities that make up Ovia Federal Constituency.

Earnest received a motorcycle as part of the lawmaker’s recent distribution of over 160 motorcycles across the 23 wards to reduce unemployment.

He thanked Dennis for his commitment to ensuring that his constituents benefited from democracy and promised to do everything in his power to support the lawmaker’s second term bid.

In Umaza ward, Ovia South West LGA, some residents stated that Dennis Idahosa has done a lot for their community, praising his provision of an ultra-modern health care center as well as other initiatives from which the community has benefited.

Mama Esohe, an elderly lady from the community, predicted that their vote would go to Dennis because of his qualitative representation that has reached the nooks and crannies of Ovia, she praised his people-oriented efforts in lowering the poverty index of the people.

Since the lifting of the electoral campaign ban, the current lawmaker has received positive feedback from constituents and major stakeholders, who say his stewardship is worthy of a second term.

Dennis Idahosa is the lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency and would be seeking reelection under the APC.
