In December 2024, an image showing Pastor Adeboye dressed in Islamic attire and standing in front of the Kaabah in Mecca circulated on social media. The post, shared by an X user @Sarkideyforyou, included the caption: “Pastor Adeboye may Allah guide you to the right path.” It quickly went viral, amassing millions of views and thousands of reactions.

During the first Holy Ghost Night of 2025, held early on January 4, Adeboye addressed the viral image, saying, “I’m sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an alhaji.” He reassured his congregation that it was nothing more than an AI creation.

Switching gears, Adeboye emphasized the need for global prayers to prevent escalating conflicts that could lead to another world war. He also issued a prophetic warning, predicting that mockers of the faith might face dire consequences this year, though he clarified that God seeks the repentance of sinners rather than their demise.

Adeboye also prophesied that 2025 would witness an extraordinary and massive earthquake, urging believers to stay steadfast in their faith.
