PDP Accuses APC of Plotting with Police to Intimidate Edo State Residents After Losing Election
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of engaging in a coordinated plot to undermine the will of the people in Edo State. According to the PDP, this scheme involves certain compromised police officials working in collaboration with the APC to harass, intimidate, and suppress the state’s residents. The PDP believes these actions are a desperate response from the APC after realizing it has lost the electoral poll.
The PDP’s strong statement underscores concerns about the integrity of the democratic process in Edo State, raising alarm over what it calls “undue interference” by law enforcement agencies. The party insists that these tactics are a deliberate attempt to silence voters and overturn the genuine results of the election.
This accusation has sparked conversations among political analysts and citizens alike, many of whom are closely watching how the situation unfolds in Edo. The PDP has urged the authorities to investigate and ensure that the voices of the people are not suppressed by such undemocratic practices.
