The reality TV star, in the latest episode of her podcast “Spill With Phyna,” candidly discussed the controversy and expressed her frustration with the societal double standards surrounding age and relationships.

The speculations arose when Phyna and Khaid shared a loved-up picture on social media, drawing criticism from some quarters due to the age difference between the two.

However, Phyna used her podcast platform to challenge the societal hypocrisy, questioning why women face more scrutiny than men when it comes to choosing younger partners.

In the podcast episode, Phyna reflected on the online backlash, stating, “Me and this boy take a picture; Khaid. He is young and the picture, I posted it. He posted it as well. Omo, if you see the dragging, ‘Oh Phyna, is this boy you’re dating now?’, ‘Oh Phyna is 30-year-old, this boy is 10 years old.’”

She went on to express her bewilderment at the disproportionate criticism, particularly considering that older men often marry much younger women without facing the same level of scrutiny.
