Police Arrest Phone Thief In Damaturu, Recover Stolen Items

According to a statement released on Wednesday by DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Yobe State Command, the 22-year-old suspect was captured at a hideout with a stolen cell phone (an Itel A663LC/MTN Sim Card) and various other talismans.
Abdulkarim mentioned that the suspect openly admitted to the theft when questioned by the police.
An investigation into the matter has been initiated, and proactive measures have been implemented to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
It’s worth noting that a separate violent incident occurred earlier, where Sheba Simon, a 24-year-old salesgirl, was attacked by unidentified assailants in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State.
