Police Discover Body Of Site Engineer Killed And Buried By Employees

The Delta State Police Command has uncovered the body of Chigozie Udalor, a site engineer who was allegedly killed and buried by his employees.

Udalor, who had been overseeing a construction project for his cousin, had hired four workers from Benue State. However, on December 10, 2024, the workers reportedly conspired and attacked him with a hammer, striking his head. In an attempt to conceal their crime, they buried his body in a shallow grave at the construction site.

The statement read, “The tragic case involves a 38-year-old site engineer, Chigozie Udalor, who had employed four young men from Benue State. On December 10, 2024, they conspired to murder him using a hammer, then buried him in a shallow grave at the site. It is a horrific example of man’s inhumanity to man.”

Udalor’s body was exhumed on April 2, 2025, following the arrest of two of the suspects.
