In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Willam Over Aya, in Lokoja, Onuoha emphasized the implementation of watertight security measures, including the massive deployment of patrol teams along major highways and undercover operations targeting black spots, flashpoints, and other vulnerable criminal areas.

The statement aims to ensure a smooth and trouble-free celebration, with any reported cases of law breaches promptly addressed by officers on the ground.

Onuoha reiterated the Command’s steadfast commitment to collaborating with other security agencies and critical stakeholders to ensure the safety of lives and property through effective information gathering and sharing with the public.

As Muslims prepare to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr following the successful completion of Ramadan fasting, Onuoha extended his felicitations to them and urged continued cooperation with law enforcement efforts for a peaceful and secure celebration.
