In a statement released by his Directorate of Media and Public Affairs on Wednesday, Senator Bamidele extended his heartfelt condolences to Omotoso’s immediate family, his community, and the people of Ekiti State, urging them to find solace in the legacy of service and dedication that Omotoso leaves behind.

The sudden passing of Omotoso, which occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, has left a significant void in Ekiti’s political landscape, according to Senator Bamidele. He emphasized Omotoso’s immense contributions to the development of Ekiti, particularly at the grassroots level, and praised his principled leadership style and commitment to the ideals of progressivism.

Describing Omotoso as a man of great political maturity and purposeful leadership, Senator Bamidele highlighted the deceased politician’s exemplary service as a former State Commissioner, former State Secretary of the APC, and State Chairman. He noted that Omotoso’s legacy as a servant leader and his invaluable contributions to the formation and governance of the APC will be cherished and remembered for years to come.
