According to Ireporter Online, Adesola Akeem, husband of social media personality Eniola Fagbemi, popularly known as Sisi Alagbo, has publicly apologised to Nigerians following the circulation of a private video involving himself, his wife, and another woman. The footage, which surfaced online earlier in the week, quickly sparked widespread reactions across various social media platforms after initially spreading through WhatsApp groups and Telegram channels before reaching blogs and Instagram pages. In a statement shared via his Facebook page, Akeem expressed deep remorse over the incident, acknowledging the embarrassment and disappointment it caused to his family, associates, and the general public. He accepted full responsibility for his actions, admitting that his behaviour fell short of the expectations placed on him by those who trusted and supported him. He extended apologies to his family members, friends, business associates, religious leaders, and supporters, particularly noting his regret at letting down his fans.

Akeem described the situation as a period of personal reflection, stating his commitment to making better decisions and rebuilding trust both privately and publicly moving forward.

Earlier, Sisi Alagbo had also issued an apology through her verified Facebook account, expressing regret over the viral video and acknowledging the emotional toll the controversy had taken on her. She appealed for understanding, admitting her mistakes and apologising to those who felt disappointed.
